I stared at the Aphrodite cabin, I was going to be staying here for now on. With a sigh I pulled my backpack on my back, picked up my pet hedgehog's cage and held my hedgehog in the other hand, and opened the door. I sat on the bed farthest from the door. I put my backpack on the ground beside the bed and put my hedgehog, Lizzee, on the bed. Lizzee crawled out of the blanket that she was wrapped in and started to roll around on the bed. I couldn't help but smile, as she tried to get off her back and onto her legs.

I appeared in a blinding flash of black light, and smaller explosions set off within the sparks I set off. Nothing was harmed in the cabin, of course, I just like appearing in the weirdest ways. "Hey. You're Dakota. Dakota Star," I said retracting the info from the daughter of Aphrodite's mind.
Death appeared on my shoulder about the size of a macaw. "'Sup," My skeletal dragon greeted the other girl.

When the girl appeared in front of me, I fell off the bed screaming...literally. I peeked at her from behind the bed, then stood up. "How did you do that and how did know my name?" I asked still feeling kind of startled. Then a bird or something, appeared on her shoulder and it started talking. I jumped back and pointed at it, "Oh my god. Oh my god. It's talking. I'm going insane."
I started to pace back and forth feeling that I'm losing my mind.

"Whoa, whoa," I said, holding up my hands. "Let's answer your questions: I'm a daughter of Hecate for the first two, and this is my pet skeleton dragon. Her name's Death. And yes, she can talk. No you're not going insane."
Death gave Dakota a little lopsided smile. "I don't bite. Well, at least I don't bite humans. Unless, of course, they're enemies."

I let out a sigh, "That's a relief, for a second there, I thought I was going to have to be locked in a Mental Institution." I looked at Death, "Good to know. I've never actually seen a talking skeletal dragon before." I looked back up at the girl, "Yes, my name is Dakota Starr, what's your name?" I asked curiously.

I grinned. "I'm Katie. And I guessed not many people have met talking skeletal dragons with flames for eyes..."
Death stood up proudly on my shoulder. "Yup. I'm special!"

"Her name's Arianna Kohl but she prefers to be called Ari," I immediately told Dakota. I like answering for people.
Death snorted. "Yeah, but they usually don't like it."
Oh yeah. Did I mention? Death can read my mind. Like I can read her's an any other demigod's/dryads/etc.

I smiled at Ari, "Hello Ari, It's nice meeting you." I slowly looked up at Death finally catching what she said, "Wait... but they don't usually like what?"
